Tools4Wisdom Weekly Planner Review

As most of you know, I am a very busy individual! I am a wife, mother of two young children, I attend college courses, independent distributor of SABA/ACE products, and still try to find time for my friends! With all that, I need to make sure I keep track of appointments and schedules of all of the members of our family. The appointments and schedules get very abundant and there is no way I could remember them all without a planner to keep all dates and times in one place.

Surpahs 3-Layer Cutting Board Set Review

Have you ever been chopping up some vegetables and went to wash the cutting board and found that there were knife cuts into the cutting board? Or found that you cut almost completely through the cutting board? I know that I have! I hate that!!! 

Well, it must have been my lucky day when I was chosen to review Surpahs bamboo cutting board set. 


These bamboo cutting boards are of the highest quality. The triple cross layers are a huge plus for these boards. They are thin and durable. Not to mention, reliable, easy to clean and store. 

Personally, I have been using the plastic, very thin, cheap cutting boards and I was not a big fan of them! The knives would leave cuts in the plastic and I would be so paranoid that somehow bacteria would get in them and I wouldn't get it out well enough when I washed them (and I scrubbed and disinfected the crap out of them). So the next time I cut anything on them, I feared the bacteria would get on that food. i hadn't been able to find any cutting boards that I wanted and liked well enough to keep in my home, UNTIL....I got these!

Surpahs has made an excellent product. I cut up the raw chicken breast that I baked for dinner a couple of nights ago on them and then washed and dried the board and put it away. The knife did NOT leave any cuts in the bamboo and the board looked just like they did when I opened them. The next afternoon for lunch, I cut up cheese and lettuce on the same board and had no fear of transferring bacteria or germs.



These boards are made of bamboo and they are not supposed to be put in the dishwasher. They are easy to hand wash and I just dried them with a hand towel. They dried quickly and easily. I love the look of them and I love that they all have the hole in the corner at the same place because you can hang them on a hook together or on three separate hooks right next to each other.

I am so happy to have gotten these cutting boards and I will not ever purchase any other brand. The three sizes are perfect for cutting up just about anything. If you are looking for quality cutting boards, you have found the ones that you want.

This was a very exciting product for me to review because I use a  kitchen scale at least once a day, every day and the one I had just died. 

This is the scale that I was sent for review. I was a little skeptical at first because I truly LOVED my last scale. However, as soon as I took this scale out of the box, I could tell it was made of the highest quality!

Not only is this an awesome kitchen scale but it works wonders as a postal scale as well!

I absolutely LOVE this product! It is accurate, quick, and easy! I love the different weight measuring units and how precise they are! I have used it for meat, cheese, pasta....AND I have even used it for postage calculating!

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review

Recently, I was selected to review this new kind of throat drop. They are made by Pine Bros. The company has been around a long time but was recently acquired by Victoria Knight-McDowell (creator and former owner of Airbourne). Here is how the company tells their story:

Pictured above are two out of the three flavors that company currently has available. Those three flavors are Natural Honey, Wild Cherry, and Black Licorice. However, on their website, they state that there is a new flavor, Lemon Citrus, coming in 2015-2016. 

These drops are Gluten Free and ONLY 5 calories per drop! They are softish as the package states. For comparison, I would say they are kind of similar to a stale gummy bear, hardness wise. However, I mean that in the best way! I love the texture of these.

Now to get to the review itself.I did try both flavors that were sent to me and so did my husband, my 7 year old daughter and my 5 year old son. With that being said here are the reviews by person:

ME:

NATURAL HONEY: I though that this one was pretty bland and didn't have much flavor. I didn't care for this one too much and would not choose to purchase this one on my own. Now, in saying that I should also let my readers know....I did not think it was disgusting nor did I spit it out. I just like LOTS of flavor and would rather have something more flavorful. 

WILD CHERRY: This one I thought was pretty darn good! I really liked it and this one I would choose to buy if I was in a store in need of throat drops. 

MY HUSBAND:

NATURAL HONEY: He thought that they made his mouth dry and they had no flavor. He chose not to have anymore of this kind.

WILD CHERRY: He liked these. He even took one "puck" of them to work because he had been having a dry, scratchy throat. He, now, keeps that "puck" of them in his Jeep center console for when he needs them. 

MY KIDS:

NATURAL HONEY: Neither of the kids liked this one. My daughter said it was "SO GROSS!" and she asked me how I could eat them. (LOL) My son said "these are not as yummy as the red ones!" 

WILD CHERRY: Both of my kids liked this one and my daughter said it helped her scratchy, sore throat. My daughter actually asked for them a few times for her throat. She said they are "totally better than cough drops"! 

With this being said, I am excited for the new Lemon Citrus flavor to come out so I can give them a try too! No one in our house likes Black Licorice so I don't think we will be trying that one anytime soon. However, I suggest that my fans give them a try and let me know in the comments what you think....do you like them, dislike them, how about the texture, and do they help your throat?

Wexy Snack Bags Review

As my readers know I have two young children! My son, who is now 5 years old (where has the time gone), LOVES monsters. He continually pretends to be a monster and is always trying to scare his sister (who is now 7)! With that being said, you can not imagine how excited I was when I was chosen to review the Wexy Snack Bags...they have monsters on the front of every bag!

These bags are very neat! These Wexy Snack Bags are 5" X 6" white bags with monsters on the front. They have a "Ziploc" closure along the top!

The Monsters on the bags are very cute and friendly looking! They are NOT scary at all! There are 4 different monsters in the box on the bags. My son asks to use them for EVERYTHING! Even his sliced banana this morning...lol! 

The funniest part is that I sent my husband to the field (he is in the ARMY and often goes "to the field" for training over night or for multiple nights at a time) with a Wexy snack bag filled with trail mix that I had made. He came home to tell me about the other guys out there asking him where he got trail mix in such "sweet" bags. Even his adult, male soldiers enjoyed such fun bags!

Pure Body Naturals Vitamin C Serum Review

Today I am reviewing an anti-aging serum made by Pure Body Naturals. This serum is sold exclusively on Amazon. You can find it here! I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive this product for review on my blog. I am very excited to share this product with everyone!

I ordered this product on Amazon.com and the shipping time was unbelievably fast! I received the product 2 days after I placed my order. I got the product and opened the box to be pleasantly surprised that they shipped the product in two different ziploc baggies. The dropper was in one bag and the bottle with the Vitamin C Serum was in another bag! I like that it was shipped like this because I knew the bottle was fresh and not the dropper was new and clean.

I started using the product about a week ago and I really like it. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle will last me a while. At least a month, I am sure. I also really enjoy how my face feels after using it. It does NOT leave my face feeling greasy or slimy. I put it on every night before I go to bed and when I wake up my skin feels super soft and looks fresh. 

I am so surprised by this product! I have not ever used Vitamin C before but I did hear about Dr. Oz mentioning that when choosing an anti-aging product, you should make sure that it has at least 20% vitamin C in it! Well this product does!
