iCaughtSanta.com

I have been lucky enough to be chosen to review a new site and product! The new site is iCaughtSanta and at this site you are able to create personalized pictures of your child's favorite fictional character!!! Here is a description:

"A personalized picture from iCaughtSanta is the perfect gift for any child… PROOF that their favorite fictional character is not only real, but was actually ‘Caught on Camera’ in their very own home! Kids will be amazed when they see the "proof" and you'll be a Hero! Choose from our world famous cast of characters including Santa Claus, Rudolph, The Easter Bunny and The Tooth Fairy. This year we've added Black and Hispanic Santas too."

The site is easy to use and navigate and pretty much self-explanatory! I enjoyed looking through it and seeing what they have to offer! I can't wait to make my picture tomorrow night after Santa has came and dropped off his presents for the kids! I know the kids will be so excited to see "mommy's proof" that Santa was here!

Here is an example of what you can do with just a snap shot of your tree and the room that it is in.

So the good news for my followers?!?! WELL this is what else the sponsors said... "Additionally, we will award 5 of your followers with one free code of their own. Omega-3 Review and Giveaway

Thanks to one of the websites I am a member of I was lucky enough to be chosen to try Omega-3 softgels from Truceuticals. Truceuticals is a compant that makes natural pain reliever and supplements. I have heard many great things about taking Omega-3 supplement and I have been wanting to try it! So being chosen for this review and giveaway was a blessing.

Truceuticals, also makes, natural pain relief cream called Noxicare!

So when I first started researching Omega-3, I found some awesome information on the WebMD website. This is what I found:

"There are many health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids. Research shows strong evidence that the omega-3s EPA and DHA can boost heart health and lower triglycerides. And there are studies showing that omega-3 fatty acids may help with other conditions -- rheumatoid arthritis, depression, and many more.
Just what are omega-3 fatty acids exactly? How much do you need? And what do all those abbreviations -- EPA, DHA, and ALA -- really mean? Here's a rundown of the essential omega-3 facts you need to know.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Basics

  • Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids. We need them for our bodies to work normally. Because essential fatty acids (ALA,DHA,EPA) are not made in the body or are inefficiently converted from ALA to EPA and DHA, we need to get them from our diet .
  • Omega-3s have a number of health benefits. Omega-3s are thought to play an important role in reducing inflammation throughout the body -- in the blood vessels, the joints, and elsewhere. However, omega-3 supplements (EPA/DHA) may cause the blood to thin and cause excess bleeding, particularly in people taking anticoagulant drugs.
  • There are several types of omega-3 fatty acids. Two crucial ones -- EPA and DHA -- are primarily found in certain fish. Plants like flax contain ALA, an omega-3 fatty acid that is partially converted into DHA and EPA in the body. Algae oil often provides only DHA.
  • Experts say that DHA and EPA -- from fish and fish oil -- have better established health benefits than ALA. DHA and EPA are found together only in fatty fish and algae. DHA can also be found on its own in algae, while flaxseed and plant sources of omega-3s provide ALA -- a precursor to EPA and DHA, and a source of energy."

After finding out all this information and researching for a few days, I was more than excited to give it a try! I have been taking Truceuticals Omega-3 natural supplement now for a little over a week. I think the product is great! I have been feeling better and I have had much less inflammation in my knees (which were causing me pain and I was having to take Motrin everyday, but now I have not taken any Motrin at all for 3 days!)

So on to the fun part... One of my lucky readers will get a chance to try a bottle for themselves from free! Truceuticals has offered to send one of my readers a free bottle to try. All you have to do to enter is to use the form below! :) Good Luck!

Crest 3D Whitestrips

So I was lucky enough to be chosen by Influenster to test the new Crest 3D White Whitestrips. They are the Intensive Professional Effect with whitening power of 5!

I have to be honest, when I first received the product I was iffy about it. I have heard of Crest Whitestrips before, of course, but I had never tried them. I thought they were probably a rip off and would only last a few days and then go right back to being as they were prior to the strips.

Boy was I wrong. I did the strips for 7 days as directed on the box. The first thing I thought was annoying about it was that I had to leave them on for 2 hours! However I was very happy that I could still drink water with them on; that made it a little easier for me. Then my teeth started to get a little sensitive about day 5, so I decided to skip a day and just resumed the next day. This made the sensitivity better and the pain was definitely better.

Finally at the end of the 8 days, I was VERY happy with the results! My teeth were most definitely noticeably whiter to me. Then I wondered if anyone else would notice. At the end of my 8 days I went to my friends house and much to my surprise on of the first thing she asked me was if I had gotten my teeth cleaned. I told her no and then proceeded to tell her about my experience with the Crest Whitestrips!

So for my end decision, I most definitely plan to buy another set of these when my husband returns home from Afghanistan in August!

Torani Syrups

Tonight I want to share with you my experience with Torani syrups. I was lucky enough to get two bottles of Torani Syrup delivered to me for my review here on my blog! I had never heard of Torani Syrups prior to my review and now that I have tried them, I wonder to myself WHY?!?! I absolutely love the syrups and can't wait to try more flavors. I was delivered Sugar Free Hazelnut and Sugar Free French Vanilla!

I really enjoy cocoa and I thought, "hmmm...I wonder if I could add a splash or two of syrup to give my cocoa a little kick" and now I won't have cocoa without my syrup! All I did was make one of the little powder packets of cocoa with some hot water and then added a couple splashes of the Sugar Free French Vanilla syrup and it turned into the most delectable little treat. I had my husband taste my cocoa and he enjoyed it as well. Then he decided he wanted to give the syrups a try for himself. He asked me to make him a new iced coffee! I went onto the website and found this awesome recipe for Iced Hazelnut Coffee and made it up for him....(just brew coffee over ice and then add a splash or two of Sugar Free Hazelnut syrup). He drank it faster than I have ever seen him drink iced coffee and asked me to make him another one!!!!

Since the Torani Syrups have entered my home, they haven't left. We really enjoy them and you can add them to so many things. There are recipes on their website for Italian Sodas, Cocktails, Coffee Drinks, Flavored Lemonades, and Iced Teas. I have even found a few recipes online that you can add the Torani Syrups to food recipes too.

Torani is the #1 brand of flavored syrups in America, offering over 100 delicious flavors. You can order any of their flavors on their website and find some awesome recipes there too!

In the comment section below, please feel free to share the recipes you come up with or try with me! I would love to know what my readers are trying and liking (give me some ideas for myself).

DISCLOSURE: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free by being a part of the Shespeaks Blogger Society. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Old Navy Style Council

Do you like Old Navy? I know I LOVE them! I recently got the opportunity to be a part of the Old Navy Style Council thanks to Crowdtap. I was sent a coupon to get any sweater from Old Navy for absolutely free and the best part was I received a coupon for a friend to get one too! So when I got it in the mail....my friend Jessica and I headed out to Old Navy immediately!

We found some amazing sweaters and some even more amazing prices! I hadn't been to Old Navy in a few months and so when I walked in I was instantly enticed! So I was searching for the sweater I was going to get and I loved them all, but I was finally able to narrow my choice down to just two! These were my choices:

Finally, I made the decision to get the leopard print one since I don't have anything like it already and I have plenty of just plain black! It looked so good on me too ;) Then my friend, Jessica, had a hard time too but she finally decided on one and I think she looks great in it (and it is perfect for her since she is still breast feeding her daughter! It works great to cover everything in public while breast feeding)! This is the one she chose:

Now if you are like us, and have a hard time choosing, check out Old Navy's Pintrest page for some inspiration! It is a great page with TONS of ideas! You can check it out here
